@SurferGalGC - Welcome hun, Charlotte is lovely, hopefully she will bring you your bfp. Its hard when you can't speak to anyone in real life who has been through the process but this thread is a good place to speak to people who know what you are going through. As has been said the first appointment is 90 minutes and very informative, good time to ask any questions etc. Warren personally walked us through to QFG to speak to a nurse and get ourselves booked in after that appointment, we didn't plan ahead and book in with them. All I will say is be prepared to take a lot of info in and you will probably come out with your head a little mashed lol and maybe even needing a drink lol! As for the supplements I would start them asap to get them in the system, when we saw him DH was still using the menevit and Warren told him to carry on as we had spent money on them no point throwing them away but I don't think he had much faith in them being of any use.
@Charlie74 - Hi hun, think we have discussed before the similar issues we have with lining. Hopefully Warren will be able to help you with the issue. I think Warren would probably have transferred as my lining was only around 7 last time and he doesn't check it once you start progesterone. Warren used trental with me when I was in cycle along with nitrodur patches and clexane all which he hopes improves blood flow to the uterus. Sorry I haven't heard of the neupogen. Before my last transfer he used the dopler around my uterus and he identified I probably had had some form of low grade infection which has cut of some of my blood flow, nobody else had looked at that before. I asked for viagra last cycle and Warren was very happy to throw it into the mix so I would ask about that also but it is expensive. Good luck.
@staceyma - Hi and welcome, sorry cant help too much with your trip to south africa but just wanted to say good luck and hope all goes well.
AFM - Just come off the phone from the nurse and now I need to make the decision to pgd test our remaining 3 embryos or go for a fresh cycle.

My last cycle @Tinachris I got 23 eggs and had 6 embryos that made it to blastocyst and were suitable for testing. If we did a fresh cycle we would probably then only test the fresh embies and therefore then not risking multiple thaw and freeze procedures.

Its my pcos that causes it hun and it might sound amazing to get so many eggs but I think the number I get effects the quality of them which is obviously our issue. Another fresh cycle wouldn't concern be too much although the travelling is difficult. Warren has just said to maybe test the ones we already have first to save ourselves money and maybe the stress of another cycle. Have to say my diet and lifestyle was much better back in November when we did our epu than it is now so that might have an effect on the quality, who knows its a guessing game. So frustrating, even if we get a normal embryo there is no guarantee it will stick. I watched the programme on abc last night where the lady was going through ivf Australia and had one normal embryo she put back and still had a negative result. I wanted to cry for her, DH said he didn't think they would have shown that result on tv but I said they are telling the truth and getting across how **** this journey is 😢

Ah, pcos, I don't have that I'm the opposite with super low AMH for my age. I honestly have no experience with this but if I were you I think I would just take warren's advice and test the 3 you have already. That way, you might have a chance to give yourself a break from the meds etc. Not really a break from the stress as the testing and survival of the embies would have you guys on edge but maybe a break from the cycle. Yes, I know you can test them and still the normal ones might not grow either. It's like when you find out the quality of them and even the top quality ones still can not grow. I really hate all the gambling involved in the process. I'll have to find that show on iview, is that the one where they film in the hospital for 24hrs or something?

Speaking of pgd test, I personally think this is very worth doing, Im 39 and eggs getting old, my first IVF took 10 eggs, I transfer one fresh and 4 made it to do pgd test, it turns out only one passed the test... and my fresh transfer failed.
Although pgd tested embryos might not give you a BFP guarantee, but I would rather only transfer those have done and passed the test, because that would save me the heartbroken of miscarriages due to chromosome abnormal embryos...
