I did! Wazza suggested that we do a freeze all cycle so that our Embryos could be tested at day 5. For our situation, I'm really happy we made the choice to test them.

@Ozrainey you should definitely have gotten a rebate from your anaesthetic. You will get a rebate on any procedure performed as an inpatient service (including day surgery) as long as the Dr uses the MBS item numbers. I received rebates for both Warren's charge and the anaesthetist from Medicare and my Private Health.

And thanks for the info about not having a GA...I think I'm too chicken to save a few bucks

@wishing25 been thinking of you today... how do you feel? First time is always the scariest as you don't know what to expect. The hardest part now is the 2ww, keep busy!

@Chyna - not long for you now at all hun then you can get going again. I have two more days of my meds before I stop and wait for af and then I am aboard the roller coaster once again.
@Gen72 - Think I would be with you hun sometimes its worth the extra money to prevent the pain. Although I did consider an EPU without GA at my last clinic but something tells me that wouldn't have been too bad.

Thanks @Gen72 for thinking of me, today was good actually. The embryo thawed out perfectly and even upgraded (I was so surprised). Warren was hilarious as usual and I was very relaxed on that vallium!! DH was good even with the singing and chanting Warren insists on haha. So now the waiting begins - but I certainly can't complain about today 😊. Fingers crossed!

@yjeu if Darwin Hospital does do it, then talk to Warren's rooms and they may be able to book it for you or refer you. I didn't pay anything when I had mine, my private health insurance covered it.

@Heyside I saw a YouTube video of someone having EPU without anaesthetic, they just had twilight and pain relief. NO WAY would I have that done, wasn't pretty

@wishing25 oh yes.....LOVE VALIUM!! Glad you were relaxed, the Valium does its job. He is the only Dr that I've had that uses it. WOW upgraded, good signs...I think you'll be one of the lucky ones that gets a BFP first go.

How could I not think of you today...I was there at your EPU

@wishing25 - wow hun great news that the embryo upgraded that is very positive. Congrats on being PUPO hope you get your bfp soon. I thought Warren wasnt doing transfers and EPUs this year and Charlotte was doing them? I wonder when that changes?
@Gen72 - maybe the EPU without GA wasn't a good idea either then ha ha glad I never went ahead.
