I only buy what I need though, so for spinach I only needed it for risotto this week. I bought some baby spinach leaves loose, was $9.99kg and I only bought around 70grams.

I ended up buying my meat at Aldi this week. Lamb steaks for the souvlakis, was around $8. Meatballs for spaghetti and meatballs $5. I did but one loose chicken breast at Safeway deli because I forgot to get one out of the freezer, was $2.50. The other meals that use chicken I have in the freezer already.

Snacks I make muffins and things or buy big packets on special. So I bought a packet of grain waves which were $1.80 and they will go in DS lunch box all week.

When I quoted around $120 a week I included cleaning and hygiene. I find we don't buy it too often. I tend to buy it when on special and get a few. I can't remember the last time I bought washing powder.

Yup, I included that lot. We don't go through a lot.
I'm the only one who uses shampoo & conditioner, and I don't use a lot. We don't buy razor blades, don't need pads/tampons currently, I'm the only one who uses deoderant ($3 right price - less if on special - and lasts me months), electric toothbrush and we buy heads online + never pay more than $1 for DD's toothbrushes etc.
