So over every thing - my new hard drive for my macbook is sitting at the post office & I'm an hour away. I was meant to be getting leave today/tonight for a high school open day for DS but the psych pulled the pin on leave since they are pretty concerned about how I'm travelling right now.

I am watching a thriller on netflix and it's very likely I will scare myself and have trouble sleeping.

I am sitting on the couch trying not to vomit. I hate gastro.

Over my DH being a selfish, grumpy, inconsiderate pita. Yes - it was easier when he wasn't around.

I am kinda scared of one of my cats right now. He has been trying to be 'top cat' and the more my pregnancy progresses the worse he is.

He is fine with DS and DH - he takes it out a bit on the other cat (that fights back!) But tonight he was stalking me and I thought he would actually attack me.

I have locked him in the bathroom to calm down for now.

So cranky. Childless BIL (who is never going to have kids and doesn't spend much time with kids) has just shared the article where Curtis Stone is talking about how we create fussy eaters. I want to comment on his share about how some days you'll do anything to get food into a kid.

Don't you love how people without kids are the best parents?!!? They know everything! Maybe he needs to babysit some 'fussy' kids for a weekend?

So true! Though I will admit I was a bit like this pre kids. We went to a buffet and my sister got her kids a bunch of fried stuff like nuggets, chips, fish. There was no salad and I was inwardly judgmental. Now I understand!
Unfortunately I don't think ppl really know what it's like until they have kids themselves or around kids on a daily basis.

I hate that I need to go back on my word today.
I promised a lady who lives around the corner that I would take her child to school today (45 min round trip) but all my kids have gotten sick and I have a headache from not sleeping.
I know it was a convenient thing for her rather than she can't do it herself. But I still feel bad.

I think it's something that you don't truly understand unless you have a fussy eater. If dd2 was my first, I probably would have thought children being so fussy was due to the parents pandering to their wants. Alas, dd1 is extremely fussy and there's been very little success in changing that
