I enjoyed my high school reunion. I too was really apprehensive but went along and it was great. So many who went were also unsure. So many apologies were made by mean girls to other people and generally people admitting they were tossers in high school and hoped they had grown.

It can actually be very cathartic.

Our high school reunion got cancelled because of the bickering over venues and planning. I couldn't believe that 10 years later and most hadn't changed!

So over mothers at school. You're meant to be role models and setting an example for our children instead having verbal slurring matches in the classroom! Grow the hell up, our children and the teacher don't deserve this cr4p!! Have some decency to take it out of the school grounds..

Oh and thanks, my youngest was so distraught by it, she refused to go to preschool this morning which is completely out of character.

Nervous and anxious about having surgery tomorrow. I have an irrational fear of not waking up after the anaesetic. Stupid I know. I've had so many ops in the past 20 yrs .

Can't wait for it to be over and I wake up !

I am just gluing the pieces of my self esteem back together after being battered by some grade ones today. My skin has been really bad lately "why do you have a sore on your face?"; I have freckles " why do you have those marks all over you? "; I am not a petite little thing " you have big legs! ". Awesome. Loving myself now.

I had my first ever operation in December when I had my ruptured ectopic and felt exactly the same fear.
Make sure you tell the nurses how you're feeling as I found them to be very reassuring. You'll be fine x

Thanks so much. In 25 years I've had 20 ops but I still get major anxiety that I won't wake up. So irrational I know

Sick of feeling like I can't be bothered looking after my 2 kids. I'm sick of the mother I've become and I'm sick of being in a rut that I can't be bothered getting out of

I know... That's why I'm really upset about it. The email from the paymaster said "please speak to the duty manager that determined you were sick and sent you home" wtf?!? Unless they are a doctor, I don't see how anyone could be determining I'm sick.
This is the standard for them, though.
