@Summer Jeez talk about being under pressure hun. @winsor's advice sounds really sound to me. Gosh I wish we could share a glass of wine with you. I thought things must have become challenging for you as you'd gone really quiet. Do you have another counseling session booked? Does he have an avenue for getting his stress out?
And btw, if you separate, there's DS, but of course that won't fix any heartbreak. Huuge hugs.

@Blossom74 I'm trying not to be inflammatory, but I read on some of the ED threads a while ago that some local donors, whilst consciously acting our of altruism, can subconsciously be trying to get their own needs met and hence can place too many demands on the recipient. Obviously that would be a gross generalisation and would depend on the individuals, but it would seem some recipients have had issues. If they are known overseas donors (e.g. US) you at least get some distance, whilst with anonymous donors this would be a non-issue. That said, you hear some great stories with known donors, so I guess it depends on the donor-recipient fit?

That is REALLY interesting. I had never considered that some egg donors might indeed be looking for a surrogate for themselves, rather than being altruistic in donating their eggs. Which is sort of the point you're getting at, I think? So a case of "Well, I have all the eggs in the world but I will insist on seeing the child periodically etc...."

I can't believe I never thought of that. Still, I suppose that's nothing a good legal document couldn't fix

@Blossom74 this is probably a dumb question but what about a young woman in vic already doing ivf that has dh sperm issues only? Maybe they would be willing to donate if you went halves in her cycle or something. Yep thats probably a legal mine field but could be cheap as all her testing etc already done. 😀 plus it may give her another shot if she is nearly out of money. Anyway not sure if this could even work and i know this is a down the track option

So hopefully if ladies who do have PCOS (who read this), won't stress as long as they have a good FS they trust. With me he did stop it a week or so before I started stimming and is also balancing it during stimming with Progynova.
@Gagingi - that's good to know. My FS said he wouldn't recommend dhea " for me" but I am not sure why. Because I've been using menopur which has the lh in it I want to find out my testosterone level to know whether I should in fact be using it. I don't think I have higher testosterone but how do I know without a test, as not everyone would have symptoms. I am hoping I was tested as part of my full bloods before I started IVF and it was a normal level.
