    well then it's time to lose the constitutional ties to an outdated and largely obsolete monarchy. the queen is nothing more than an icon these days, most of her "power" is largely ceremonial. we have our own PM, they have theirs. why do we need to retain those ties?

    it's like Australia is too small and scared to break free and be its own country.
