    Today's quick update
More than 2 weeks post op now.

Dd woke up more swollen this morning than when she went to bed last night. She said she felt like she had been beaten up. She didn't go to school today. Her stitches are starting to dissolve and are catching on her braces.
    She has lost weight too.

Just went I could see the light at the end of the orthodontic tunnel, I got s note from the school dental van. Ds2 (gr5) has been referred for a deep bite. Ds3 (gr1) has worst overbite of all the kids. He was extremely painful to breastfeed because of his misaligned jaws. I thought I would get a break between dd2 finishing and ds3.

Dd2 has 2 more weekly appointments with orthodontist and than regularly braces checks. She the surgeon next week. She lost a fair amount of weight and still on liquids and purees.

    Thanks for asking
Right now she been a typical sassy teen that I am trying hard not to react to, iykim.
She is back at school fulltime(grade 12) and is starting her uni course next week.
She hasn't had an meds for ages now. She the orthodontist weekly for new bands and alignment checks.
She still swollen, she kinda looks like a overweight person in the face on skinny body. So it really not too noticeable if you didnt know her.
I can't get a picture right now as we just has a blow up about being disrespectful. Being a mum of teens is so much fun some days.
