Default Holiday destinations with a toddler

Hi I'm trying to find a place to go for 8-9 days in April? We will have a 20 month old then.

We were going to go to Singapore but it's working out a bit expensive. Was thinking maybe New Zealand? What places are a must visit? And is it easy to get around with a toddler?

    Thanks

We took our 2 year old to NZ on a driving holiday (north island) and she loved it. I found it really easy and its a short plan ride ( from qld at least!)
We are thinking of fiji next i have heard thats also a great place for little ones
