    @Summer thanks, you're too kind! On a good day I think wow I can do this, on a bad day I think omg I have no idea what I'm doing and want to rip my hair out lol

    It's really great what your doing for you DSS, divorce is something that must be immensely difficult for children, while I have no personal experience, I did have a stepdad, who even though didn't really talk about feelings was always the one to give a great confidence boosting pep talk, and a great rock to lean on, sometimes it was enough to just sit there in a comfortable silence.
    Your DSS will really appreciate your efforts one day, even if it does not feel like it all the time now. So just keep on doing what your doing.

    Oh and feelings books can be a great tool- for a while I over did it though and then we "lost" the feeling lonely one that sounds terrible but I had to do it to save my sanity 😂
