Sorry was in a rush before. So I ate what I wanted and didn't gain weight. I work 12hr shifts on my feet so quite active though I didn't do exercise.
But as others said its once the babies born that I struggled. I went back to work 10kg heavier than I left and it's only gotten worse since then.
So just be aware pregnancy can be the easy bit, it's afterwards when you don't have time for a proper meal and just pick instead that you get caught out. My youngest is 2 and still wakes several times a night. So I'm exhausted and use sugar as a substitute for sleep which I know is terrible.

Thanks for all your replies ladies.
I feel a lot more comfortable now and I am watching everything I put in my mouth. I am going to write up a exercise plan this weekend to ensure I start working out even if its for 20 - 30 min per day its got to to help
We can not wait for first scan!!

Swimming is great. Keeps you cool and not intense.
