@Imasugarjunkie definitely order the embryoscope, that way they don't have to disturb the embryos when checking them it's done via camera and you get a photocopied copy of the photos to take with you. You have to take the whole 2 weeks gently, not just the day after transfer so no heavy lifting etc at all and just regular walking etc, they're strict about that and give you written instructions on what you can and can't do, so if your planning on more of a holiday, make sure you don't over pack as d/h will be in for a treat sorting out two suitcases if you haven't had a bfp before I would include embryo glue etc.

Great idea, will do! Embryoscope sounds like a must. And I hadn't given much thought to embryo glue.... my problem has always been with the egg quality so we haven't ever made it to the transfer. I guess it can't hurt to throw everything at this cycle.

We are staying on but we are going to go to Croatia for a week to relax before flying home. I'll make sure to pack light! I wasn't planning on doing anything strenuous, just some sightseeing.

It's all becoming a bit real... flights are getting booked tonight! Such a long wait though

We decided to go with all the extras since they can't really hurt. It was a small drop in large bucket after 10 years of infertility treatments & the effort to plan an out country procedure. :-)

True! It's nothing compared to the cost of everything else. Having never gotten as far as the egg transfer before I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the new options.
