Yes, that sounds about right. When I was near the end of the vials he just said finish what you have left.

Still looking at options and planning.
Anyone know if they do surrogacy in SA, or any agency that does this?

Your best bet would be to talk to Rikki from sunshine agency. She has been an egg donor in the past (she reached her family limit years ago) and was doing a surrogate cycle just after we last went to SA.(January 2015)
She would know what's possible but from memory of our conversation with her, surrogacy in SA is limited to SA residents/citizens. I believe (again from memory of our conversation) that this is governed by legislation.

Girls don't stress about booking flights and accomm. I stressed and carried on with our first try and got nowhere, a big fat BFN. Our 2nd try I had a melancholic 'see what happens' nonchalance about it all, and it worked - I am 6mths pregnant with twins.

You probably won't get your plan until a couple of weeks out. We got our confirmed treatment plan on 30 Oct and flew into CT on 14 Nov.

We had only one weekend where we could be in CT for our 2nd try, which gave us a 7 week window, go to whoa, to cycle. Luckily DH left a sample with CFC on our 1st visit, so we could use that instead of physically being there on EPU day. I did my lining scan here and sent it to CFC. We flew in on Saturday morning in case they needed a 3dt (and didn't) went back in on the Monday for 5dt, flew out 6am Tuesday morning. CFC were very accommodating and worked it in around our EDs uni exams and all.

This may be the 1st time you're doing a cycle, but relax, CFC do hundreds in any one week. They will guide you. Give them a firm date you want/need to be in CT for your 5dt and they will work backwards from there.

Once you get your plan, just jump onto AirBnB and scope out some cheap accomm. They have ones that are 'instant buy', pick one of those and you are done. We got a lovely apartment in the city for $40AU a night, and a great one a block from the beach in Sea Point for $48AU. Read the reviews to make sure others were happy and you can book with confidence.

Good luck and baby dust to all.

A massage at The Vineyard followed by lunch outside in The Courtyard.

If you haven't been over before you may like to keep in mind that it may take about 3 days before your body clock adjusts. You may crash around 3pm. And then find you're fully awake in the middle of the night. Its always handy to have food with you for those midnight feasts if you've slept through dinner time!
