Yeah I couldn't get pregnant until Jan on surgeons recommendation and work is way too busy in Dec for me to get leave.
Here's hoping your lining plays ball love, you've been through a lot!

Hi, I didn't realize I left out something important. The reason why we went to SA is the for us to much of regulations. We don't agree with the extend of what we would have had to gone through here.

So, I need to ad that yes, we would assume the person/s would travel to SA and even to that clinic although that is obviously not for us to decide. However this clinic had been researched by a friend of us, who is an obstetrician originally from SA. They have a very high reputation and I can only confirm that I felt they were very professional and friendly. It was our first attempt with them but not the first in total.

Both donors have brown hair and brown eyes.

@Tahli no luck yet and i have said enough f words for the week. All donors suggested are not on the database anymore. Hopes up then hopes dashed-doesnt that sound familiar?!! The one girl still left has produced 29 eggs in last donation but because it wasnt at CFC i cant get any info on what they turned out like. Apparently 22 of them fertilised. I just dont know what to do. I am making enemies of all the donor agencies because of all the queations i have been asking but to be honest none of the donors have been up to scratch and there doesnt seem to be many young proven donors around at the moment. Im sure someone will come up soon

ECM1981 I wouldn't be looking for a donor who got 29 eggs harvested as it was obviously overstimulated. You need low numbers of high quality eggs. You'd find a high drop off rate from 22 regardless. I almost hugged Dr Matabese for only getting 7 from my donor- she was happy I understood.

I had excellent quality embryos day 5 and 6. In total 3 or 4 frozen after one transfer resulting in a healthy child. that was over 50% to the end which was excellent.

Young, healthy, nonsmoker, and if necessary get a scan to see potential. I know someone who used unproven from SA and is having bubba on 25th Feb. That was not her first cycle at CFC either.

For any-one looking into PGS through CFC it's R36,000. Ouch! Next day results via Genesis Genetics.

Maybe @JulieMalooley we have no $ to do anything about it right now but will apptlroach Es donor in the second part of the year to see if she's available/interested and take it from there. I have 2x 3ab embryos left from another donor but I feel that grading isn't great so we'll likely discard them either way.

A lot of the young heathy non smoker's are coming back with only a few left to freeze. If i didnt have utereus issues i would be fine with only a few left to freeze but after 3 failed trips last year with good qual embryos i need someone who has good numbers and good quality as unless Dr M gets my insides right i may be going back mulitple times. I need to keep going back until i get the right combination of meds with the right embryo. It can happen, i just have to look a little longer. Cfc are helping me. They are sending me some good reports on previous donations. Last time choosing a donor was the easy part, the rest was hard. Hopefully this time, this is turning out to be the hard part and the rest will be easy! ☺

We obviuosly picked both anonymously but with the help of the agency close to our looks and believes. The egg donor had donated three times of which we were the third. All of them resulted in pregnancies so that we are expecting our baby girl in June. We are very excited.
We have another two embryos frozen but we doubt that we will use them for ourselves. Obviously it would be a pity if after three years these embryos get discarded. Therefor we are looking for a couple, possibly in the same situation as us who would be interested in having them implanted. We also feel that it might be nice for our girl to have a kind of sibbling she could one day talk and relate to.
We had the procedure done in SA but live in Australia. If we find a suitable couple (or single) and all feels right we would, however, ask for the costs we had to receive the embryos to be shared.
Not sure which would be a website or place to connect with interested women?
    Hi Orange Cocktail,

I think what you're proposing is great, but I'm wondering if it's a bit early to think about donating your precious embryos? I say this from the perspective of someone dearly wanting a sibling for my child. It might be hard to understand this when you're so happy to be having one. A friend of mine also had a lot of trouble conceiving her second and we agree that it is harder this time around because we know how big the reward is. Why not give yourself a bit of time to get used to having one and see how you feel? If after that time you really truly don't want to go through another pregnancy, then how about a surrogate? There are lots of women that are keen to be surrogates but not only as a carrier (not using their own eggs).

I am just offering another perspective, no offence intended. FYI two websites you mind find helpful re donating your embryos are eggdonorangels.com.au and embryodonation.org.au

    All the best.
