    Congratulation Cathy69...how exciting!!

I'm so jealous reading everyone's travel plans for trips to CT. I had received my email reply from Dr Metabese, but the answer to my question about being able to my partners 'frozen boys' was that I would need to get an import cert and it could take 4mths or more. So we have finally made the decision to stay here and use Known Egg Donors that travel here.

It was just getting too hard with DP's work and trying to organise the 'frozen boys' to travel. It would have been probably at least 4-5mths before we could get there and then there can be hiccups with importing the little guys.

So we have selected our donor and seems we are all set for March/April donor cycle. A little relieved that we have finally decided, it was rather stressful, but now we are a little anxious about the rest of the process.

Thanks again for answering my questions...take care and I'll pop in from time to time to read everyone's stories.

    Hi gen72,
That's great you can do that from here. There was a lot of talk about this known traveling egg donors on another thread. Is it new to Australia? I hadn't heard of it till recently. Anyway good luck with your cycling!!

Hey @ECM1981 pm me your email address and I can send you the info they sent me as well as the link for their site.

I think at this point they are only coming to Brisbane and you need to keep in mind that it is at least double of what you are paying to go overseas.

The company is called Known Egg Donors I'm not sure if they are also called Traveling Donors, but I think they might, but are called something different for Australia as all donors here need to be willing to be known.

ECM1981 there are 3 of us (we know about) from this thread all signed up and ready to go - even chosen donors already - so ask any questions you think of lovely. Gen72 and Maxwellsmum and I have been swapping notes too.

Thanks for the link Gen72. I will look at it soon. I'm still waiting for my call from Dr M. It's 3pm here (perth) which means it's 6pm in Sydney, should I be getting worried that he hasn't called yet? I hope he hasn't forgotten me. I have waited about 6 weeks for this appointment!
