Oh @Canuck1 I'm sorry 😟 It's harder i think when 'good' embies fail for no known reason. Are you holding up ok? Have you got plan b in place, or not even thinking that far ahead yet?

Very sorry Canuck1. It's awful when you've put so much into the process.

I have eight embryos (six good, two fair) in Toronto. One of the reasons I shipped them from Cape Town to Toronto was that I had so many, and I wanted to give myself a cushion if the FET didn't work. So I will try again, I will meet my RE later this month. It just seems like nothing can go my way on this (too long) fertility journey.

To others in the planning stage.. I would suggest that you use any agency that has the donor you like the look of.

Where do you plan staying... does anyone have recommendations? I stayed in Sea Point when I was there last time.. a couple of years ago..
Hi Kylie764. I would love to meet up. I haven't booked accommodation yet and am looking at staying in the vicinity of the clinic so not too much driving to get to acupuncture and clinic appointments. Will pm you. Sorry for the delay in letting you know but getting time on the computer is a luxury these days.

But at the moment we have held back on the planning and booking until we have more solid cycle dates. Would be happy to catchup if we are still in town.

AFM it is finally starting for us. After months of planning I have started my drugs and now am just waiting for my donor to start her cycle. God I hope CFC have the right level of stimulation so we have a decent number of good quality eggs to use. When does the stress end?
Hi Outoftime. I would be happy to catch up if we can arrange it. My first appointment is the 22nd at 1200 so before or after that will be OK. Where are you staying?

Happy to meet if you are. Travelling with mum and a very heavy 5 month old. That part I'm concerned about. Blink and this year is gone.

I am still on pill and start Lucrin on 12/13 (can't wait). Have lost so much hair while on Microgynon this time it's crazy. Bed, floors, everywhere. Hoping it stops once I stop the pill. I always have really bad breakthrough bleeding but it has nothing to do with final lining result etc. BFP for me first round.

I didn't use EDSA because the advertised availability was months out from reality so planning was a nightmare. ABabySA emailed me back and forth while speaking directly with donors on their end giving me true availability in real time, allowing me to lock in a donor. I knew when I wanted to cycle and I had no flexibility so it helped me a lot.
Hi KMP. I would be happy to meet up before we leave. We are there until the 3rd. Still organising accommodation and we will have a rental car so we can come to the waterfront.
