@Tahli is there anywhere else you could do the hycosy?? I managed to get referral for lining scan syranal and bt referrals from my gp i realise it is a bit more work but doable if you have to. I reckon 200 in the scheme of things isnt much if you have to move it??

@midnite01 I've rung the HyCoSy places the girls suggested on here plus 3 others and they all said the same thing...only a FS can do a referral to have the HyCoSy done under an anaesthetic. LB tried to organise to have someone flush my tubes while she did the HyCoSy but it wasn't doable. I'm frustrated tbh.
My gp won't provide any of those referrals. @Vixjc has kindly recommended her gp here in Melb. It would feel very weird to just rock up to a brand new gp and ask for those things though.
If I do the CT option then I start on Synarel on Monday. So confused.

Damn. And the prob with the bulk billing walk in places is they are more hesitant to prescribe those things for you than a gp.

@Tahli, can Dr. M help? He did a lap and hysteroscopy for me.. I flew to Syd from Mel and stayed overnight at hospital and flew back next day..
For the lining scan there is a clinic in Ivanhoe that can do it via GP referral.. Xx

@Tahli sound like you need to postpone CT. If its all too hard and too confusing then its not right to go ahead too soon. Do your OE cycle and then if that doesnt work book in to CT again later. CT will always be there and isn't time dependant plus its too stressful doing this kind of thing on a whim not to mention the costs.

Ive rushed cycles in before when I should have waited and they've been a disaster and mega stressful so i would just pay the 200 and change the flight and then work all the other stuff in to some sort of timeline.

Also why are they checking your tubes anyway with IVF?

i hope I understood your question right and hope that helps?

@Charlie74 Saline flush, tubal patency, HyCoSy are all basically the same thing. They flush the tubes and check the uterus and endometrium. The problem is I want it done under sedation.
@tuxcat that sounds like a plan.
    Thanks girls, xx.
