I'm just back from my apt with LB. For the girls who have had a hysteroscopy (on day 4 of your cycle)....could you do an OE cycle that month or did you have to wait until the next month?

Had another scan today, day 12 of stimms. Will trigger tonight for EPU fri morning. About 22 follicles, a few small which won't make it I reckon and 2 x 21 which will probably be over mature, so hard to know how many eggs I will get. FS happy with number and consistency in size. Haven't got estrogen level yet, was 7000 something on Monday so will have to wait for today's results. Hoping I don't have to change trigger for OHSS risk and just stick with the ovidrel.

@Green lady Talk about opposites...I've just been chatting with my FS about how to get 2 follicles!! Congrats on your great number of follies and I really hope OHSS stays well away.

Bloody Hell Luv!!! What a crop you've got for the taking!!!😮👏👏👏👏😊

I'll put my money on 18 at EPU😊 Hmmmm....that E2 level is a bit up there isn't it?? You might still be right to use the Ovidrel.

What's the other alternatives?? Synarel/Lucrin?? Are you worried about not getting good results if you have to change Trigger??

@BlondeinBrisvegas - yes I'm worried about a different trigger - (would be lucrin) not working properly - I've read some things on Dr Google which suggest that sometimes it doesn't work as well - I think our Dr Sher is not particularly in favour of lucrin either - in fact he thinks the normal 250 of ovidrel is not enough and it should be double that to get effective meiosis at the time of final egg maturation.

FS said he thinks will leave trigger as ovidrel if my e2 is not over 14,000 given on my previous two cycles the level has been up around that and I haven't got OHSS.

@JulieMalooley - I can't get too hopeful. First cycle I had 19 retrieved with 17 mature and got none normal out of that. My poor fertilisation rate of between 40 and 50% even with HAICSI will scuttle my numbers very quickly and the reason for the poor rate is pretty certain to be an egg issue as DHs 46 year old sperm has tested within normal limits in every aspect.

I was knocked back for the gestational diabetes hospital trial. Apparently I'm not fat enough, so that's nice to hear and twins rules me out too. BUT if they believe that probiotics can prevent it, I better get onto the yoghurts.
