    I had my 4 taken out 5yrs ago - cost close to $2k. $400 per tooth & $200 for the procedure/local anaesthetic in the chair.

    I had antibiotics several times as they kept rescheduling my appointment (even though I was paying a fortune!) but I had exposed nerves so they didn't work as well. Hopefully they will for him though!!

    Thanks everyone!! I think I'll start by getting him to book in to a dentist to find out what's needed and how much it's going to cost etc.
    Will see if he can get antibiotics at the same time.
