Default What to do with old child car seats?

?? What do I do with them?
I have a booster and a convertible booster, nothing wrong with them, I just don't need them anymore. They are both 5 years old.

I did put one of FB BSS page a while ago but had no interest. I guess I could try again...

We took DSS's to the tip. I'm not sure anyone would want them unless they knew you very well. It seems so wasteful. Maybe someone else has some better ideas for you.

That's exactly what I thought! It does seem so wasteful, imagine how many car seats end up at the tip! That's why I thought for someone else to have them, as they're only 5 years old...

Have you tried the local refuges and dv charities and shelters? They may interested if they're still in good condition, women come to these shelters with children with literally nothing.

I destroyed a couple of mine (ie cut the seat belts) and took them to the tip.

Unless I knew someone very well, I would not accept second hand car seats. Having said that, I did manage to sell one at a garage sale once.

Just search your suburb or area " ....... buy swap and sell"

It should come up in a fb search and then ask to be added
