Organising X rays.and speech to the new prof of orthodontic surgery as the one we were seeing has retired and now we need to state why we want the surgery done. Bloody crazy. She needs it done so why do we need to go through this again.
That is insanity. Why don't they just accept all the previous xrays etc?

New X rays are needed as the problem is getting worse. I get that. I hate that this prof wants her to go into details of why she wants it to be done. She has aspergers and social anxiety so it not easy for her. It would be easier for her to say just don't do it to get out doing the speech. And then down the tract if she loses One tooth she won't be able to chew. Yes part of it is kinda cosmetic. You evening up her chin after the add to her jaw so her chin doesn't look like a Disney witch. But it correcting a deformity. Making sure she will always be able to eat. Surely that enough.

Kids and I have just been to the dentist. All clear for DD and I but DS has a cavity beginning in a molar baby tooth. He won't lose it for a few more years so needs a filling. He's cheerful about it (hasn't had one before so I'm happy there's no anxiety). Our dentist is awesome.

I need to grocery shop so will head to aldi soon. Otherwise the day is a blank holiday slate!

Can your GP write the letter?

How soon is the planned surgery/ies? How is she coping?

New X rays tomorrow. Than 18months of braces than surgery than 6 months of braces. This after 3 years of double plates that were only allowed out for eating.

It's all or nothing thing. Her top jaw sticks out so much that 6 of her teeth are showing all the time. One top bottom teeth match to chew.

Never seen the GP about it. It has been through the school dental van.
