Check the height of your table - as bubs gets older it's nice to have the chair pushed in so that the food is on the table (not the tray) and bubs is eating with the whole family, not set back. I don't think Ikea has adjustable legs but this might be something to consider?

This if you are willing to spend the money and the chair is multi use as well! As it is wooden it is also easier to clean.

Don't get one with material or cushioned stuff on it. I used to work in day care and had to clean them all the time and it was the most disgusting job. We had five of them
And there would be dried up food under the cushioned part.

We have a mama & papas brand one. The important things to us were upright posture, easy to clean and a footrest.

    Default Highchair

IKEA if you are just after something cheap. If you're happy to fork out for it the stokke Tripp trapp is really worth it. My cousins had them and they still use them at their desks as teenagers! (They convert into normal chairs)

We loved our ikea highchair, but didn't really look at others so I have nothing to compare to!
