    Managed no snacks today which was great - mindless snacking is my biggest downfall.

    Small glass of juice and a protein shake for brekky, ham, carrot, cheese, hummus and rice crackers for lunch and a chicken and veg stirfry for dinner.

    Did a 4km walk and then a 45 min gym sesh. A little bit (200cal) under my calorie goal - but I've had a pretty lazy day (apart from the exercise) so I'm not too worried about that, especially since I'm not starving for it.

    Up to 3.2L of water - will probably have another half liter before bed.

    Noticed lots of goal setting style journals in kikki k today if that interests anyone

    Good day here. Not much exercise-wise as I've been catching up on book work 😁. Up to 1200cal. Feeling great because we have friends over and DH has just gone for an icecream run. I declined 😊

    Default January Weight Loss Challenge

    I just saw this thread now and am really keen to join. I just got back from an 8 night cruise yesterday. I resumed my evening walk tonight that I do with my friend 5 nights a week.

    Will get stuck into good diet tomorrow. Today not been too bad but had home made fried rice for dinner with marinated chicken.

    Does anyone else feel a little sick if they exercise with even just a little bit food in their tummy? Or is it just me?

    Yes! I had an egg 1.5 hrs before the gym yesterday and felt horrible!

    Terrible day today...finishing it off with a wine now. Back on the bandwagon tomorrow.

    Yeps - though does depend on the time of the day.

    I find a small (250mls) glass of juice in the morning is the perfect amount to stop me feeling nauseous from not eating and nauseous from eating for my morning exercise.

    I have no issues when exercising in the afternoon (4-6pm) after eating normally throughout the day (lunch is usually somewhere between 12-2pm).

    Interesting day today. It's our 15th wedding anniversary . Therefore we've eaten out...twice. Think I did pretty well with my choices though, and even with the scoop of macadamia gelato I just had (drool) I'm up to around 1650cal. We also went for a bush walk as part of our day. It was a 5km circuit with lots of stairs, so feeling pretty confident that a decent amount of cals have been burned.

    Good girl. Sometimes we need one (or a few) of those days. I had one only a few days ago. The important part is, not to beat yourself up about it but move on- which you're doing so that's great! X

    Happy anniversary! Wow, 15 years! And oh my god, I'd kill for macadamia gelato right now, sounds delish!
