Default The year that was. 2015 highlights and lowlights

So the year is almost over so what have been your highlights and your low lights.

I'll come back and post mine when I'm in a more positive frame if mind as I can only think of lowlights right now. So I'll need some inspiration from you all! 😃

After 3.5yrs of TTC our first child (including 2 years of fertility treatments), we finally got our BFP.

Hoping everything continues well and we get to take home our little bundle.

Our highlight far outweighs all the lowlights and make everything else completely worthwhile. x

Highlights - being brave and making a number of new friends, getting back into writing, realising just how lucky I am to have my wonderful friends and DH, watching DS grow.

Lowlights - PND and the accompanying misery and anxiety. Most of my lowlights centre around that.

Highlights - watching dd grow and change. Spending time with friends and family.

Lowlights - money troubles, appendicitis, and dh and I hitting a pretty rough point in our relationship.

It hasn't been the best year but dd makes it all worthwhile.

Highlights - the kids and I made some wonderful new friends (I feel so lucky to have met such interesting people), moved into our dream house, and I got a post graduation job (although I haven't started yet).

Lowlights - constantly behind in bills and mounting credit card debt (the new job should sort that out, eventually), lots and lots of illness this year and my health still isn't okay, and same for DS. There are operations ahead for next year and that scares me a lot.
