My lillebaby is great. Straps are reasonably long but you can also get a waist extender strap if needed. Bonus is you don't need an infant insert like you do for a tula, ergo etc so it's cooler for a newborn in summer. And there are quite a few different colour/pattern options available too. Definitely recommend it!

Check out the mini monkey carrier. Baby is held very low which takes a bit of getting used to but it's sooo comfortable. Am selling my ergo now as just never found it comfortable but I use my mini monkey everyday. The straps are pretty long and you actually don't have any weight at all on your shoulders so they should be just tight enough to not fall down. All the weight it carried around the strap around your belly button and waist strap. My dh uses it with very few adjustments needed. And my baby loves being in it. Lightweight and no insert needed. Much cheaper than a lot of other too.
