Yep. Me too. Zero bedside manner but one heck of a doctor. I delivered my last baby on my hands/knees in the shower on her day off. She came in for me. I was worried as bub was supposed to be big. All 4.5kg of her and sile was very supportive and just brilliant.

Default Mater or Wesley - Alex Alexander or Ross Turner

I had Dr Turner for our recent twin pregnancy. It was a difficult pregnancy (4 threatened miscarriages, Rh negative, Gestational Diabetes, older mother)

I'll admit I took awhile to warm to him as his personality is very different to our fertility specialist (Wazza).
Ross is methodical, consistent and thorough. His fee structure is cheap by comparison to those I researched at the Mater and his reception staff are truly lovely !
($60 appointments, $1200 management fee and no gap delivery)

I did at times get frustrated by him as he seemed non committal when discussing our planned C/Section - I expected to deliver earlier, he pushed me out longer. I did not like an obstetric Physician that he referred me to later in pregnancy (PM for more details )
In the end we successfully got to 36w and 4 days when the babies decided to come of their own accord and I underwent an emergency C/Section. As it was I ended up having to deliver at the Mater due to health concerns (heart defect ) for one of our babies. As we delivered on a public holiday Dr Turner did not deliver but rather another very experienced colleague that he arranged.
At first I was miffed that he wouldn't be there but in the end I was very pleased with the outcome.
Feel free to Pm if you have any other questions.
I know other acquaintances who have also been to Ross and they all say he is excellent in delivery, keeps you and himself calm under pressure. I was admitted to the Wesley during pregnancy and all the midwives had positive things to say indicating that they themselves see/saw Ross.

Hi Blinky, sorry for the delay in replying, could you pm me about your referred obstetrician that you mentioned in your reply, and tell me a bit more about Turner?

    Thanks so much

I tried PM you but your settings wouldn't allow me to send my message. Have you got an alternate contact or can you adjust you settings ?
