    Default Hair Dye while pregnant

Has anyone spoken to their doctor about colouring their hair whilst pregnant?

Yep. My OB said the evidence indicated that it's fine.

I avoided dying my hair during my first pregnancy and ended up miscarrying. Second and third pregnancies I kept on dyeing it and I now have two healthy boys.

If you're really concerned, you could avoid it for the first trimester.

I don't think there's any evidence that it's harmful. Look at how many hairdressers that have gone on to have healthy pregnancies.

This. My mum was a hairdresser worked through both her pregnancies and back in those days the chemicals were worse and far less safety precautions etc. We turned out ok 😁

Getting your hair done every couple months will be fine 😊

I had mine done every 4-6 weeks right through pregnancy with no issues.

I'm pregnant with my third and have dyed my hair a couple of times, I was a little concerned as I am a lot older than I was with my first two but I dyed my hair with them too and they were fine. Come to think of it, I need to do my hair again.

I'm kind of scared. Im nearly 6 weeks and I've an app for colour when it will be around my 8th week. I'm going to ask at my 7 week scan if it's ok. I did just buy something called coulour wow to put on your roots and it is pretty amazing so I might be ok till 2nd trimester!

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try and wait till 2nd trimester but it's going to be hard! Bloody grey hairs are already shining through!
