Hi all, does anyone know if taking 12 months maternity leave affects my eligibility for the child care rebate? I will have 1 child at an early learning centre and I normally get the 50% CCR but I thought you had to be working to claim that? I will be claiming PPL during this time and taking unpaid leave from my employer.
I don't get CCB or FTB or anything else.

I think up to 12 mths mat leave meets the work test for CCR. The website had clear info from memory.

You get it while you are on paid maternity leave. Then you still get it for 12 months on unpaid leave
