It's Christmas time, so I plan on spreading joy and kindness. Anyone want to join me.
So far I have
Given bucket of mangoes to the school administration
Given buckets of mangoes to random strangers and today to some fireman at the fire station.
Paid for lunch for a child.
Paid for a child to go skating.
That is it so far. It's not much but it a start.

On another note, I was JUST thinking about you as I was cutting a mango up for dd2.

I dropped off Xmas cards for asylum seekers, posted cards for soldiers and donated pressies to a DV shelter. Trying to spread some cheer.

I'd like to join you. I haven't done much so far. I've given a gift to the Kmart giving tree. I'll try to step it up in the next few days!

At our local woollies there is a donation crate for non perishables to go to the less fortunate at Christmas time. Every week we buy something extra and donate it. It's not much but it's nice to know someone doing it tough can feed their family this Christmas

I donated a couple of toys and books through my work charity gift drive.
Also I told a lady in spotlight the other day that there was no one waiting at another counter. She didn't thank me or even acknowledge me but at least I was nice lol.

I will try my best but I probably won't be out and about much before Xmas, if I can help it anyway!

yeah at my woolies they have an Anglicare box for either food or toys ... so I try to put something in it every time I go to the shops.
one of the families at DD's school has had a pretty torid time of things lately. The Father has been sick for a long time, and passed away about 6 weeks ago. DD was not especially good friends with the child in her year (there are 6 kids) so while I wanted to help I didnt want to intrude IYKWIM
anyway - today I found that they have started a GoFundMe thing to raise some money for them ... so I contributed to that which I am happy with.
(I know its not a random act - not for a stranger - but its for someone I dont know that well that is having a hard time, so it counts right? )
