    Ok, in the interests of closure.

    Yesterday I received this (so three days after my original email):

    This was my first thought too!!

    This happened to me with a huge cloth nappy order a couple of years ago. They sent me a paid for postage sheet thing to stick on the incorrect parcel I received to return it to them. They then sent it on to whoever was supposed to get it. No money had to change hands at all.

    Wowsers that's one incompetent business. First they send you a rather expensive set missing a colour. Then they send you someone else's order..... and expect YOU to ship it to the buyer?? And she still hasn't sent the pencil

    When I was pg I bought a nappy bag off ebay and they sent the wrong item. Given it was overseas they let me keep the item (only worth about $20) and refunded me the cost of the bag as it wouldn't have arrived in time for DS2. That's what a decent business does - recognises they made a mess up, takes it on the chin and at most asks you to send it back to them at their cost.

    Um they should have either let you keep it (and sent the missing pencil) as apology for their multiple stuff ups OR sent you a prepaid bag to send the package back to them so they could sort out the their other customers order.
    If a company gave my details out willy nilly I'd be very annoyed. But also they're making you stuff around for their stuff up. Who has time for that this time of year?!
    I would sort it out and send a polite note just saying that in future it's probably best for them not to share other customer's details in the interests of privacy 😀
