I'd email them again. If I order something, I expect to get what I paid for.

So they sent you a truckload of new pencils without explanation? Sloppy customer service.
If it was intended as a good will gesture because there had been a run on the colour you are missing then they should explain it for heaven's sake.
Email them and say you appreciate all the extra pencils but you still don't have the colour you are missing.
Sure, it's probably nothing to lose sleep over in the grand scheme of things but you paid for a set and you don't have a set. Don't feel embarrassed for chasing it up.

I would email them saying you were expecting one single pencil but had received many more not including the colour you were missing and you want to ensure they hadn't mixed up your parcel with another customers. See how they respond.
Make out you are just being concerned for their other customers, when really you just want your bloody green pencil!!

Another stationery nerd, I think I'm in love with you @harvs!
I can spend hours in Officeworks fantasising about stationary... I actually love pretty notebooks so much that I have a whole box of them in my office that I never use because I don't want to ruin how pretty they are But I just keep buying them!

I love stationery too ( I am looking forward to doing my kid's school supply run just so I can buy heaps of stuff at Officeworks...I love Crayola pencils but to in response to your conundrum, I reckon you should email the customer service people one more time and even if you have to pay the $2 to get your green pencil, just go for it. You forked out a lot of money for these pencils, you should get the complete set. It's the principle of the matter.
