I just got younique fibre lashes. I've never used fibre before but I'm pretty impressed. Anyone else used them?

    I haven't tried Younique's fibre lashes, but I do have Cherrybloom's and they're fantastic.

First time posting in this thread - I'm hardly an aficionado, more of a dabbler.

I wear Mac Face & Body foundation on my face, but I think it's a little dewy for the hot summer days. Any suggestions on perhaps a very light powder (nothing heavy that'll make the lines on my face more pronounced) to give me a slightly more matte appearance?

I love love love Clinique almost powder make up. Easy to apply (the counter suggested a sponge but I prefer a brush) and doesn't settle into my lines.

Just make sure you get the colour right! Too light like I did the first time and it was ageing!

Otherwise if you want a matte finish Chanel perfection lumiere velvet is a matte finish but a consistency similar to vitalumiere aqua - almost watery - but dries matte.

Default 'Make-Up Aficionados' lets chat here...

If you love Lisa you'll see her use Clinique airbrush concealer often under her eyes. It's quite light. I love it! I think LE uses #04 which is a neutral light/medium but I'm pretty sure they go down to #1 which is really pale.

And then she often uses Laura mercier secret camouflage which is thicker and great for concealing blemishes or redness around the nose etc. I find you have to warm it up a bit as it can be a bit dry to start with. I use #2 or #3 but again there is a lighter one!

Both of those products are great IMO!

I've spent about $800 at Mecca since this thread began. I blame you all. 😳

And I want to applaud you, then ask for pics of all your goodies so I can live vicariously through you since I didn't buy a single make up related product over Xmas!

This was today's haul - Kevyn Aucoin mascara, Gwen UD palette, hair ties and GlamGlow kit. I've also bought a few Lipstick Queen lippies and Hourglass palettes. And a Naked3 palette (I like pink!😝). I want to get some new brushes and maybe an Eve Lom cleanser. I've been spending xmas gift money and vouchers. 😁
