@turquoisecoast I haven’t tried it but I keep reading about antipodes. I kind of imagine it to be a little like Aesop - which I’ve found hit and miss.
But I might try that night cream!

i’ve always found aesop nice but i don’t know, really a bit overpriced for what it is.

i love that antipodes is easily available from my crappy local shopping centre, i don’t want to have to travel to the big shopping centre 9km away (and can’t currently anyway) to go to mecca or david jones. accessibility is a huge factor for me.

plus it’s well priced. i don’t mind spending more on a quality product, but if i don’t have to, that’s a bonus.

    plus it’s natural.

definitely give it a go if you can, i’m liking it so far.

I need a different foundation, mine is definitely too dark for me, but I’m way too self conscious of my terrible acne to go into Westfield to Mecca to get help choosing one without makeup on. I don’t want to do an online one because I can’t see it on my face to confirm that the colour is right. This is probably more of a vent than anything, unless someone has any ideas of how I can solve this problem?

Mecca and Sephora will give samples if you ask, so you can try them out at home.

Samples are the way to go. I’ve used the online foundation finders and found they’re always a little bit off. Not enough that I can’t make them work, but off enough that I’m not completely happy.

I've run out of my foundation - MAC studio fix.

I'm happy to reorder it, but I'm considering trying Estee Lauder's Double Wear.

Has anyone tried both and has an opinion on which is better?

I’ve used both. I found double wear too heavy for me. But loved double wear light - except for the colour match. But they discontinued the original double wear light and now have one called double wear light soft matte that I haven’t tried.

Studio fix for me was a good stock standard foundation and same with double wear light. I found the coverage lighter than double wear but similar staying power and application.

I’ve got Estee Lauder’s double wear (Mil gifted to me). I barely wear foundation (last time was a function last year lol) so I’m not the best in knowing what’s better.
That said, I’ve tried both and find EL’s quite thick and not a very dewy coverage which I prefer.

Thanks ladies - I ended up sticking with the M.A.C. I think double wear would be a bit heavy for my liking. I think I'd be silly to buy it online too without actually trying the product first.

I ordered studio fix this morning from Adore and I'm getting a sample of a M.A.C primer included. I'm still trying to find my perfect primer, so it would be nice if it's a winner!

Primers are tough! I’ve tried them all I think and never found one I absolutely love.
But there is an Estée Lauder primer a luminance one that is pretty good.

Hourglass pilled on me. Armani pilled on me. Becca doesn’t seem to do anything. It’s annoying.
