My 6yo boy felt down two weeks ago, he had quite a big bruise (near the right kidney, a bit lower) -- and we didn't pay too much attention as he was not complaining at all about it. Then, a week later (last week) he started saying that it was painful when we touch it and when I checked I felt a hard lump under the skin. I left it without any treatment as I thought it was going to go away. It hasn't changed much since last week. Today I googled hematoma and apparently some people apply creams or even go and see the doctor, although most people don't do anything at all (as it's supposed to go away on its own with time). What would you do?
