Wow impressive! I love a baking day. Need to wait until DS2 is a bit older though, I get constantly interrupted 😂. Well done you certainly have a good month or so supply there!

Wet, miserable day here so thought I'd occupy DS. We attempted mini cinnamon scrolls. They aren't much to look at but super easy and taste pretty good!

My quick attempt at a cake for DH. I used canned frosting because I was too lazy to make my own buttercream so I couldn't smooth it out after the crumb coat formed a crust!

Anyone have a failsafe biscuit recipe? Feeling like making biscuits with DS but I will admit biscuits are not my thing lol I'm terrible at them!

I do remember someone had a super super easy one and it was great but I can't remember who or what was in it lol

    250g melted butter, cooled
    3/4 mug sugar
    1 egg, whisked
    1 tsp vanilla essence
    Pinch salt
Cup of choc chips/sultanas/macadamias (or whatever you want really. I usually put in more than a cup because I like mine really chunky)
    3 mugs SR flour.

    Pre-heat oven to 180.
Add sugar to melted butter, stir. Add egg, vanilla and choc chips (or whatever it was that you want). Stir
Add flour. I start with 2.5 mugs, and do maybe half a mug at a time. How much you need seems to depend on the weather. If you put too much flour in, add a bit of milk. Mix til dough forms. Roll into balls and space out on baking sheet. Flatten balls with a fork. Bake 15-20 minutes or until slightly golden.

I've done that from memory. I'll double check the recipe when I don't have DS randomly screaming because he's so tired. But I am pretty sure it's right.
