Default Mouth ulcers - 2 year old

Is there anything that you can do for mouth ulcers?

Bit of a back story - last weekend I came down with awful tonsillitis, Tuesday Mr 5 came down with a virus and now today Miss 2 has mouth ulcers.

From what we can see there is 4 or 5 ulcers but she wont really let me have a look because they are hurting her. She is also pale, sleeping more than usual and just not herself. She also isn't eating or drinking because its hurting her.

I have made a doctors appointment for her for tomorrow morning but was hoping there was something I could do from home.

Could it be hand foot and mouth? If so, i think its just a matter of riding out the virus, unfortunately.

I hadn't thought of that. Maybe. Can it just be in the mouth?

Not sure, sorry. I meant to say as well, sorry to hear you've had a bad run of sickness. Hope you're all feeling better soon.

I got this from the chemist. It numbs it. Do not use bonjela etc. The alcohol in it will sting more.

SM33 gel. It's for mouth ulcers and it was also recommended by a friend of mine who's a nurse for teething (so it's safe for little ones).

Kenalog ointment is the best thing to treat mouth ulcers. I suffer from them as does my daughter and this is the only thing that makes a real difference.
