Yeah, I'd be annoyed too. Has your FS given you any hope at all?

@Apples1234, going by that notification, the choice of whether or not we (as in DH and I) can afford another round of IVF next year is abundantly clear. Should the changes pass, the answer will be a firm 'No.' I suspect I would not be alone in that. There is only so much money you can pour into this, and we are just about at the point where we have run dry.

    I will write, of course.

I know!! 😢 we've run dry and maxed all credit. About to start 4th stim this year and I'm also out of energy but we need the Medicare benefit.

I wonder if the Safety Net changes do come into effect whether it would push more of us into overseas egg donor earlier??

Oh FFS's Luv!!! What a PIA all this dragging it out!!! Are you still taking your Progesterone?? If so, then I'd personally stop it if it were me in your shoes although that won't stop your HCG climbing unfortunately.

Sounds like a blighted ovum to me Luv As long as it's not bloody ectopic!!!

@midnite01, I didn't want to upset you by suggesting it, but I tend to agree with @BIB on this one. I remember when I was 8 weeks pregnant and I knew in my heart that I had lost Blossom (even despite a 45,000 HCG reading.) I just wanted it all to be over.

I wonder if all the drugs you are taking are somewhat sustaining/supporting your climbing HCG? If it were me - and this is an entirely personal decision for only you to make - but I would start weaning off everything now. It's a hard decision to make because it is admitting defeat, but it opens the door to healing and getting some closure.

Sending you lots of hugs hon, it's a harrowing thing to go through and it just breaks my heart whenever anyone else goes through it.

    Blossom
