Default What to buy for that 'hard-to-buy-for' person.

I like Dusk too. Admittedly I haven't been in one for a while now we live in the bush, but the scent in the shop was always heavenly and I'm still using candles that are at least 4 years old and still smell as fresh as the day I stocked up!

Depending on your budget, I'd go a gadget, some sort of book/magazine subscription or an experience. Or have a day out - lunch and gold pass you can enjoy together? Jewellery? Nice serving tray or glassware? Scarf? Nice cosmetics bag or similar.

Have you checked out hardtofind.com.au? They have lots of random cute stuff - like a tea mug with the collective noun names for animals according to type. Funky tea towels... Do they have a pool? What about a sunnylife giant inflatable flamingo?
