Default Boys name for little brother to Callum

    Hi everyone,
We're expecting our second baby next year and looking for a boys name to go with our first son Callum. We really like Lachlan, but feel it may sound and be too similar in origin (both Scottish) to Callum? We'd love some opinions on this or other suggestions. We also like William, Jacob and Benjamin and had considered Dylan but feel that it sounds too similar to Callum. I guess traditional is more our style and preferably two syllable as our last name is only one syllable. Any other suggestions welcome?! Unfortunately there are a lot of boys in the family, so finding a name we like that hasn't been used is proving very difficult! We had decided on Harrison months ago but that was used by a family member for their little boy two weeks ago!

    Thanks in advance!

My first thought was Benjamin. Would you use Ben as a nickname? Callum & Ben sound great together.

My surname is one syllable too. I wanted 2 or 3 syllable names, just seems to flow better My two boys are Zachary Michael and Thomas William.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Keep them coming! Unfortunately we already have a cousin Patrick and Callum's middle name is Mitchell. Some good options though. In your opinions though is Lachlan to similar to Callum? Would love some thoughts on that.
