Has anyone here fallen pregnant naturally after a vasectomy? Just a random question as I am wondering how common this is?

Well one of my closest friends did. Actually i had taught all of her three children, her youngest was in my year 4 class and she fell pregnant!
7 years after her hubby's vasectomy. It was definitely his. Lol
    It was a huge shock!!!!

Yes, it is highly likely if you have sex and the live sperm is still there.

It takes a certain amount of ejaculations before there's no live sperm left. I wouldn't have sex unprotected until given all clear from doctor.

A guy I know did. 2 years after his vasectomy.
He didn't believe it. Thought she had cheated.
Paternity test proved it was his.

The odds vary depending on how the vasectomy is done. Sometimes the tubes are simply snipped (in which case there is a small chance the ends will reattach and repair themselves), right through to snipping out a section and cauterising the ends (REALLY low chance of self-repair). I suspect most cases are the result of not getting a clear sample before recommencing unprotected relations, but don't know what the stats are. It would be interesting to find out!
