Default Unsettled baby with possible reflux

Hi, my 6 week old has been very unsettled and wiggly and not sleeping well. My first had silent reflux, so I am aware of the symptoms etc. I'm really looking to see if anyone knows of a good doc on Brisbane Northside that works with bubs with reflux etc. Also if anyone knows of an osteo/chiro/Bowen therapy that have been good with infants. Personally we tried chiro with my DD with no improvement, but willing to try again. Also has anyone found that a dummy helps to settle bub? As he likes to stick his fists in his mouth a lot, have tried a dummy a few times, which he liked but would cry even harder when dropped out of his mouth, so I stopped using it. Thank you

Not sure about dr, but I've been doing bowen therapy with my ds as he was very unsettled and windy etc. It's helping well, he's more settled. Still has his moments but def improved. He's had 2 sessions so far, taking him for at least one more. We go to Into Balance at rochedale, it's free for babies.
I find ds settles very well with a dummy, in fact I'd be lost without it!! However the only one he would take are the tommee tippee cherry bulb ones, all the others fall out of his mouth.

Default Unsettled baby with possible reflux

My DS is 15 weeks and we've been doing chiro for silent reflux and it's really been working for us. We started every week then went to fortnightly but have just started going back weekly Coz it really flared up. Last monday I walked in with a screaming baby and came out with so calm that he slept for 3 hours!

We also use a dummy - just avent soothers and when he keeps it in it helps

Any suggestions on how to keep the dummy in? He seems to want it but just loses it when he keeps dropping it out and it makes it worse. He is also a catnapper now (dos ok for first 5weeks) but will only do 3mins at a time now, even though he is still really tired when he wakes

Thanks for the info. Is it bulk billed or something for bubs?

Into Balance just does the bowen free for babies, they don't take any medicare details or anything. You just need to call to book in. Sessions are fairly quick, ours were about 10 mins max.

The cherry bulb dummies are bigger so just stay in for my bub. He pushes it out when he's had enough.
