If I am 46, had 4 failed OE cycle's but now trying a Donor, (I have nothing wrong with me just age of eggs) do you think its necessary I go to Lyn or perhaps try someone cheaper at Monash? Lyn charges $500 compared to most who are about $200

I'd stick with Lynn @lissimmo, if she knows your history it's worth sticking with her I think.

Lissimmo I tried another Monash specialist first who didn't take us seriously at all. He basically told us he didn't think we had any problems and sent us away to keep trying naturally. We wasted so many months and then went to Lynn instead who took us serious from the get-go. We were booked in immediately for the full range of testing, laparoscopy etc and had a full diagnosis finally

For me personally I wouldn't worry about money. Sometimes going cheaper works out more expensive in the long run.

    That sucks.

Re cost, I thought she was only $200 per apt, minus 47ish from Medicare.

We first saw her in mid-2014, so I must have blocked it out!

wow i didn't realise she was charging $500 now....that is an awful lot of money for an initial consultation that generally doesn't take to long with her (well for me the appointment didn't go to long, about 20 mins or so) She is very good but in saying that, overall you will be spending much more with her, even with operations such as Lap & a Hysteroscopy generally she charges an additional $200 I'm pretty on top of other charges. This definitely isn't a cheap process and Monash are forever increasing their charges to make extra money for their share holders.
