@SophJ correct it's a blood test that both you & your partner have to do, not covered by Medicare so it's $220 in total ($110 each). Our results took 4 weeks. Subsequent LIT treatment costed $1300 (you do twice so around $650 per treatment). Intralipids around $200, none subsidies by Medicare or PH. Good luck! Don't hesitate to let me know if I can provide further info, hate that there are more questions than answers in this field

Thanks Riaki! So expensive! So you've done it? Did it make a difference?

Still TBC-my 1 miscarriage was pre lap (silent & mild endo excised) & pre LIT (TTC naturally), the immune treatments (or could have been lap) completely changed my cycles (went from regular 32-33 days to 28 days) so completely missed O a couple cycles... Have you had NK cells measured? There's a NK cell thread very knowledgable contributors & info

It's good to have shorter and more regular cycle now!
Yes, I've done NK cell test/biopsy. The result is 11, not sure what that means but LB told me there was nothing to worry about.

Default Lynn Burmeister Monash IVF-feedback wanted please #6

What CD did you have your NK cells tested though? Mine were 14 pre O, 30 post O, NL deems anything about 8 as too high..

To add to the confusion, essentially an inconclusive study 😔

(P.s Sorry to hijack the thread, I guess somewhat relevant given LB doesn't actively explore RI)

I had mine tested on CD21, which is 7 days after ovulation. And LB would put me on prednisolone and intralipid anyway. What protocol would Dr NL use?

For just NK cells, NL does 2mg dex & asprin from CD1, IL on CD8 or 9 & clexane from O. Obviously plus LIT for DQ alpha. I opted for pred (20mg) instead of Dex as it doesn't cross placenta as readily. With IVF NL is happy to prescribe filgrastim (Neupagen) too..
