My favourite favourite was the one about the Queen's Legs that I think everyone in the world knows.
I cringe thinking that I told that one to my mum!

What jokes did you think were hilarious as a child?

Mine was "what is long, brown and sticky?"
"Why do elephant have big ears?"
"Because Noddy won't pay the ransom!"
Both of these jokes are eternally etched in my brain. Whenever my kids request a joke I have to fight the urge of both of these- the first because they have heard it too many times before; the second because they wouldn't get it. 😐

I can't believe I'm going to say this one, the shame, but this joke used to crack me up as a kid, it's so childish and wrong, but anyhow here it is.. (Gen Y may not know/remember who Jana was/is) and her surname is pronounced as Vent.
What's bigger than Jana's Wendt?

Even as a kid I had a slightly deranged sense of humour.... my fave was:
Why did the Koala fall out of the tree? Because it was dead.
I thought it was hilarious

Mine was a long winded one;
How do you fit 4 elephants in a Volkswagen? 2 in the front 2 in the back.
How do you know if 1 elephant has been in your house? Set of footprints in the butter.
How do you know if 2 elephants have been in your house? 2 sets of footprints in the butter.
How do you know if 3 elephants have been in your house? 3 sets of footprints in the butter.
How do you know if 4 elephants have been in your house? A Volkswagen is parked out the front.
