Midnite01 I called today and got the appt on the 10/12 in the afternoon. The lady who answered didn't really ask much. I said I hadn't sent in the questionnaire as I was waiting for my medical records and she said that's ok. She said its $300 for the phone conversation and I needed a referral but she didn't say whether I'd get any money back. She also said that it had to be paid before the phone call by bank transfer. It all seemed a bit weird to me to be honest.

Hi to everyone else, and all the new ladies that have joined. This is such a lovely, supportive thread, even if it is a little hard to follow as it moves so quickly!

AFM, I've booked into the hospital last week, I have my morphology scan booked for a week & a half time. Presently heading towards 18 weeks, I've just stared to feel bub move around, and I've really popped this week. Visiting with my best friend who's just back from living in France, haven't seen DH for 5 days, think he's going to be surprised when he sees the belly lol

Cant believe I'm nearly half way!
Wow @Petal40 I can't believe you're that far already ! 6 weeks ahead of me. Were you even looking remotely pregnant before you popped? We have our nuchal scan next Wednesday. DP has promised me that THEN he will start talking and thinking about what we are going to do, names, leave etc. finally !
@Blossom74 recipe please... That looks deeeelish ! I need one now ! @midnite01 you must be going through some torture. Why can't it ever be easy? I'm hoping for better news for you soon. @MamaKes, today went well. The baby cakes were divine and my lumpy semi risen lemonade scones were so light and delicious, surprisingly.. We put up a congratulations banner, put the cakes out, people turned up (heaps of them cod everyone was wondering what the surprise morning tea was about), they looked at the cakes and everyone looked around the room asking who was pregnant. Nobody cottoned on till I said 'me'. Guess I really am too old huh ! Lol
Let's just say lots of people were shocked.
THEN one of the two people at work who knew ages ago that I did IVF announced at the top of her voice 'so all that money was wasted hey Julie?' She thinks I stopped IVF and this was a natural miracle because I treated my ANA. Um... Yeah, thanks big mouth. NOBODY else knows about the IVF you stupid beeatch ! FFS. This is why I'm now not telling anyone at work ANYTHING ! Of course when I finally announce its twins, they will all assume, but I'm just going to deny. Stuff em, it's not their business.

@JulieMalooley I can't believe it either! I've had a little tummy since about 13/14 weeks, but could pretty much hide it with the right clothes. Have just popped over the last week really. DH and I haven't really done much either - I put a pram away on lay-by last week as it was on sale, and we were in Brisbane (no where to buy a pram in Toowoomba anymore, both places shut down in the last 6 months). We have talked about names, but only because I reminded DH that it took us nearly a year to agree on lights for the house for the bedrooms lol
Good luck with your nuchial, I didn't have one, but have had fortnightly scans with my OB. Looking one forward to the morphology one though.

Bahahahahaha!!! I'll bet everyone was shocked Luv!! Pity about the chick with the big trap!!! I would've been tempted to shove a scone right down her throat for that!!!

Actually Luv, women in their early 40's have an increased risk of naturally falling Preggo with twins anyway As we Lovelies inch ever closer to the "Big M" our ovaries can start firing off an extra egg every now and again increasing the chance of "double trouble" if you hit the fertilisation jackpot Cycle that it happens

Other than your colleague with a loud hailer for a mouth, everything else sounded lovely for your M.T Can't believe your NT is next week too!!! Am sure everything's going to be just fine with the bubba's too

First things first midnite I am so sorry your in Beta hell. It really is awful. I hope you get answers soon. So a little bit of background. I have had 8 transfers. My first was a chemical and all the rest were BFN's. Wazza is my current specialist but I am not in Brisbane I see him remotely and fly in and out. So my first stim with Wazza I got 5 blasts I have transferred three over two transfers and all were Bfn. This transfer I transferred two, one good one and one was still not awake. So Wazza gets his patients to do three pregnyl boosters I cheated and only did two because I wanted to Poas I had little hope for a BFP and this was to be my last OE cycle. So I POAS I got a faint BFP at 8dp5dt based of this I went in for Beta at 12dp 5dt and my HCG was 21. I went again at 14dp5dt and it was 65. Wazza was not happy he likes to see it at 100 so I went again today at 19dp5dt and it was at 540. Wazza was put on the phone he asked me if I had had a scan yet. I told him no. He said he still wasn't happy and I need to get a scan late next week here in my town with an Ob. I spoke to his nurse and she said I can do bloods again late this week as well if I like. What do you ladies think. I love Wazza and his opinion means a lot to me so when he said he wsn't happy I felt very down but my numbers have been more than doubling? Any thoughts at all. Do you think that I should do a BT on Friday and that will give me a clearer idea. Wazza told me not to do anymore blood tests just do the scan but his nurse said I could. I think she felt sorry for me. Sorry for the long post and the conversation I have interrupted.I am just going slightly crazy my 2 ww has now been 3 weeks and now might be 5 weeks.

Oh Luv, what an awful bloody limbo land to be in hey???

The only way to really know what's going on is to have the scan as your embryo should be at a certain point by then. In fact, if it's late next week you have it, you should be able to see the yolk sac and fetal pole at the very least if not a heartbeat.

You can do the BT if you want to see how your levels are doing as they should also be at a certain level too just like they should be now. They're not and that's why he's not happy. Now, it could be that you had a late implanter and that's why your levels are lagging behind, but again, you won't know until you have a scan.

I'm one of Wazza's Ladies too and I skipped the last Pregnyl booster for the same reasons you did!!! Don't worry about that, it won't have hurt or harmed anything.

Anyhoo Luv, I'm and sending prayers to the Universe that you've got a late implanter on board and that everything will turn out ok for you
