You could start the provera the same time as the progynova. Check with dr w though. I think I have maybe 70-80 left so they won't go far if you're on 8 per day.

    Default IVF over 40 #21

He never knew about it. When I had my first appt at wazzas office after my BFP, DR M told me to increase Progy to 8 and add provera x 8 per day for my lining. That's why I reckon check with dr w mainly to see if and when you should take it

Even though my lining was great btw. I think they just like to go overboard so everything is covered.

I ask bcos last cycle our other 5 embryos were still going on day 6.. But they couldn't be tested.. And I'm pretty sure the words were said 'couldn't be tested or frozen'. Ok so they couldn't be tested but where do they have to be by then to be frozen?

I was just reading a blog by some doctors at genea, and someone asked a question about her embryo that was day 6 & frozen, but couldn't be tested, and the FS replied saying he definitely wouldn't rule out using a day 6 frozen embie.

Just had had me wondering.. I have the embryologist report on the embryos we had.. Am gonna dig it out and check what stage they were all at..
@Charlie74 the embryologist I spoke to at genea said they want to see them at expanded blastocyst stage at least by day 6 (I have had SO many thrown in the bin and never make it to freeze)
@Tahli I'm on 25 Pred from day before transfer and 5mg when they wean me off, intralipds CD7 and after BFP. Sorry can't be more specific, have yet to get a written plan! I have only ever used Provera to bring on a bleed so be careful when you stop using it, the hormone drop will bring on AF. Best of luck, glad to hear you have already booked your flights xx

Thanks for the stopping Provera advice @Bongley. I'll email Dr W and ask about them first. I don't want to start taking them then not be able to get more!

Hmm, just looking back at my old clinics protocol for a FET.

CD1 start synarel and 50mcg ethinyl oestradiol tabs 1 per day (I've got about 12 of these still)
When you start the progesterone (5 days before transfers) also start taking provera 10mg x 2 per day and continue on ethinyl oestradiol

I wonder if ethinyl oestradiol is the same as progynova - which is 2mg oestradiol valerate.

Groan there are so many different protocols. It seems like more is more likely to get us preggers though.

@Charlie74 they still think could be eptoptic by slow rising hcg. I had a bit of ovary discomfort last night very similar to when stimming. If i get it again tonight i need to ring my fs and see what he says.
