But for now, please take care of yourself. Get mad, vent, get some chocolate cake or ice cream into yourself (preferably both at the same time), and then figure out how to get even. Big hugs honey
@Blossom74 here's hoping your body is cooperating and let's hope for a reset today so you can start putting your next plan into action. Any word from your fab neighbour, she still MIA with the animals presumably successfully rehomed?

Thanks @Corbes and everyone else who responded,

The clinic just rang and confirmed my HCG is now under 5. They do not want me to do any more BT's as a reading of 5 or under denotes 'not pregnant' in their books. They said my cycle should come back soon now, most probably in the coming week or so. It is 4 weeks to the day since the D&C so it took a long while for my HCG to come down. That being said, it was 45,000 at one point so it had a long way to drop I suppose.

In some ways I am glad it's all over. No more BT's for now, so I get a couple of months to get myself healthy and prepare for what comes next, whatever that may be.

On the other hand, I am a little bit sad today. The last remaining bit of Blossom has now gone and I doubt I will ever get over that.

May I have some chocolate cake and ice-cream too please, while I have a little cry tonight about what might have been?

As for the neighbour, she has still not come back. The dog and the cat disappeared last Monday and I haven't seen any of them since. I am quietly wondering if she has done a moonlight flit - packed up and left under the cover of darkness.

Blossom I think you can do whatever you want ffs. This has been a long and drawn out process of mourning and although it's over it won't really ever be truly. Something that can be not forgotten. The amazing thing is you've come out of it still a strong and amazing person with optimism for the future whatever it may hold. I know your fight has kept me humble over the past few weeks and I thank you for sharing your journey x
