Are you really happy?

Yes, I truly am and golly no, not what I expected at all! I wasn't happy for a long time. I had a lot of depression and anxiety issues stemming from a difficult childhood with a lack of stability and guidance. I spent a lot of time being bitter and negative and I think that just created more of the same - you know what they say about the law of attraction. But after having DD and all that coming to a head, my partner cheating on me and leaving - something clicked and I've been nothing but happy ever since. That 'attitude' and bitterness just disappeared. I started taking responsibility for my own life and actions, and appreciating the good things...I'm now in the best place ever Life isn't perfect but that's ok, I have a wonderful DD & loving partner, great friends, good job, lots of laughs & happy times.

Yes. Having said that, there are elements of my life I wish were easier or different, but I'm a pretty positive human that lives in the present and has a glass half full attitude, which means I live for all the positive stuff without dwelling on negatives.

My life is not at all what I expected! Its much better
I was single for 4 years before meeting DH. I thought I would be single forever and never have children. So I planned my life as a single person and thought I would travel, live overseas for a few years, etc.
I'm so glad I met DH. We're living in the suburbs with a kid and 2 dogs, and I couldn't be happier! Of course there are some things which I wish were easier/better, but overall I'm very happy

Are you really happy with how your life has turned out?
Overall yes. As with most people there are a few things I wish I did better but as a overall definitely happy.
Was this what you expected?
Hell no. No way did I think when I was young that this would be my life.

I'm about 80-90% happy. There's a few things in my life I'd like to change but they're minuscule.

No. Very distressed at the moment as to how life is turning out. Looking for ways to turn that around as I'm very conscious of the fact that we only get one. Fear of making things worse is what holds me back. I had a lot of dreams and passions when younger. These are rapidly disappearing.

overall yes. definitely feel like things are going well and I'm happy with our progress and things we are achieving.
there's always room for improvement (mainly self development type stuff and working on myself lol) but it's all a work in progress I guess.

No, not really. But there's no going back so I'm trying to make the best of it and move forwards. I have a lot of regrets and wish I had made different decisions when I was younger because doors have been closed to me now that were open back then.
How I wish this was like a game and I could press 'reset' and try again.

No not happy with my life and where I am now is definitely not how I expected my life would turn out.
I also wish I could hit reset and try again. I made a number of bad decisions years ago that I am still paying for now. If I had my time over, I would live my life very differently.
