I just remembered when I sold a kettle on gumtree once. I'd been given a second one so decided to sell. Lady came around to pick it up and I showed her it still worked (put about a cup of water in). She took it home and then contacted me saying is sold her a dangerous kettle because she filled it all the way up and it splashed water out when it was boiling. It never happened to me because I never filled the thing all the way up! She kept hassling me for the money back. I ended up giving her the money back to stop her contacting me!

That's exactly what I thought! Oh well, I don't advertise much now. Just give it away instead.

We recently sold an iPhone 5 for $250. Dh had the screen replaced on it before he sold it though as it was smashed but that only cost like $90. There so were so many people wanting it too!
