    Default Tell them they're dreaming! Buy-Swap-Sell

    I was just on my local buy - swap - sell FB page (where I spend way too much time and money) and was thinking...

    What are some of the funniest things people have seen on there?

    Someone on my one has had a filthy foot spa on there for ages, it's so grubby I wouldn't put an animal in there, let alone my foot! They want $10 for it

    Others have included a filthy oven probably 30 yrs old for $50, a half eaten birthday cake (no kidding, and the seller got really snarky when told to take it down), broken appliances, dirty pairs of thongs etc etc

    Does anyone have anything funny they have seen on FB or similar?

    A second hand kids jumper for $1. She bumps it multiple times every day. Someone suggested that she just donates it to charity but she's adamant that she's going to sell it, even weeks later it still gets a daily bump 😂

    Of course! It has totally changed my FB world, I'm addicted! Most of it is sensible but every now and again the hilarious ones come along...

    I love the ... 'here's a bag of cr-p I'm selling. ..for $50' and you only see a garbage bag full of clothes.
    this is a recent one. ..they wanted $300.... but you couldn't even see it!

    lol great thread!

    someone was once trying to sell boxes that some designer goods had come in. can't remember the brand, it may have been LV. they wanted like $30 for the empty boxes 😂😂

    or when people try to sell old/used stuffed toys for $5, $10 etc.

    but I always feel sorry for the stuffed toy cos I know nobody will want it and it makes me feel a bit sad lol

    But then I realised, maybe you meant you felt sad for the person trying to sell the toy, and not for the toys themselves? Because toys don't have feelings... (they obviously do though)

    I thought the sadness was for the toy too. I'm choosing to keep believing that.
